BMW Y 12 VDC Splitter

The BMW Y adapter connects to/ in-between your NAV connector and GPS/Nav and gives you a 12 VDC connection point for accessories and retains the power for your NAV/GPS unit and wonder wheel function if you are using a NAV V or VI.

Supplies 12 VDC for a phone charger, LED lights or extra NAV/GPS.

Can be used as “ignition trigger/control wire” if you are controlling a switched power distribution module.

Total amps on the NAV supply circuit is 5 amps.  Most GPS/NAV units require approximately 1.5 amps @ 12VDC.

Total draw for all items connected through the NAV connector should be limited to about 4 amps.

CAN NOT be used for high draw items. I.E. running lights, horn, etc.
